The 613 Commandments

By the traditional count, there are 613 commandments in the Torah: 248 positive commands (things to do) and 365 prohibitions (things not to do). Not every one applies to every person in every age, some belonged to the Temple, the priests, the land, or the king, but together they are the full instruction Yahweh gave His people. This study lays them out by theme so you can see the shape of the whole Law and test it for yourself. Read it not as a burden, but as the heart of a Father written down for His children.
