The Prophets and Their Signs

From the line of Adam to the last words of Malachi, Yahweh raised up a faithful line of prophets, men who heard His words and carried them to a people who would not always listen. They did not speak their own minds. Holy men of Elohim spoke as they were moved by the Ruach Ha'Qodesh, sent to turn the heart of the people back to their Maker. And often Yahweh did not stop at words. He taught through living signs and symbols, pictures the prophet could see and touch, so that the message would be remembered long after the voice fell silent.
